Heads roll in Angola
Through Presidential Decrees, Jose Eduardo dos Santos last Friday dismissed the deputy minister of Geology and Mining, Samuel Tito Armando, and the ambassadors to France, Ambr’sio Lukoki, Brazil, Alberto Correia Neto, and Tanzania, Brito Ant’nio Sozinho.
The Head of State also dismissed the diplomatic representatives to Singapore and Indonesia, El’sio ‘vila de Jesus Figueiredo, Sweden, Leovigildo da Costa e Silva, and Japan, Victor Manuel Rita da Fonseca Lima.
On the other hand, Dos Santos appointed H’lder da Silva Gon’alves de Moura e Preza to the post of deputy minister of Transports, and Samuel Tito Armando and Victor Manuel Rita da Fonseca Lima respectively as the ambassadors to Russia and France,
He also appointed Leovigildo da Costa e Silva as the post of Angolan ambassador to Brazil; Albino Malungo as ambassador to Japan; Brito Ant’nio Sozinho to Guinea-Bissau; Armando Mateus Cadete to Equatorial-Guinea; and Fl’vio Saraiva de Carvalho Fonseca as ambassador to Singapore. ‘ ANGOP.
