Wesbank Transport, a division of the group, is a long-time service provider to the mining sector.  Offerings include cross border long haul, short haul services from the Walvis Bay port (including container and warehousing services), chemical logistics (pneumatic and sulphuric tankers) and material handling. 

Material handling includes mobile cranes ranging from 15 to 220 tons, forklifts, reach stackers and the largest fleet of abnormal low beds up to 100 tons.  Ad-hoc projects, viability studies, logistical solution design and consultation services are also on offer.  Through a single point of contact, the mining sector have access to the most comprehensive logistical service offerings.

The team is committed to ensure the health, safety and security of all employees, visitors and customers.

They make use of preventative measures to reduce injuries, loss and damage through a dedicated risk and safety management team.  Continuous improvement of health, safety, emergency response procedures and security are maintained through training campaigns.

They achieved ISO9001 certification and have an in-house SHEQ division.  Wesbank Transport is also a signatory to the International Cyanide Management Code for the transport of cyanide and is the only Namibian transport company who may transport cyanide and Class 7 Uranium product.

FP du Toit Transport’s Full Loads and Central Africa Division, operates on the Trans Kunene, Trans Kalahari and Trans Caprivi corridors, thereby providing transport and logistical services to various destinations within the SADC region.

The Group can leverage and complement transport solutions by drawing on the experience and skill sets of each of the divisions.

With more than 560 power units and a complement of 1000 staff members, FP du Toit Transport Group is continuing its growth in the region as well as the expansion of service offerings.

Pro Parcel Distribution, another division of FP du Toit Transport, offer consolidated freight services, mainly between South Africa and Namibia.  The distribution network from Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban, link every Namibian town through a hub-and-spoke supply network in Windhoek, Oshakati, Tsumeb, Walvis Bay, Mariental and Keetmanshoop.

Delivery take place to all major Namibian destinations five time a week, and minor destinations not less than twice a week.

JET.X Courier service operate cross border between South Africa and Namibia, and within the Namibian Domestic market.  Delivery to every Namibian destination, Monday to Saturday.
