United Kingdom Grammy Award Winning soul singer Joss Stone is expected to share the stage with three Zimbabwean female musicians: Ammara Brown, Tamy Moyo and Gemma Griffiths during the 5th edition of ‘Ngoma NeHosho Live Session’ in Zimbabwe.
The Ngoma Nehosho Live session will be held on June 2 at 7 Arts Theatre in Avondale, Harare.
In an interview, Ngoma Nehosho founder, Walter Wanyanya, said the night of ‘Ngoma Nehosho Live Session’ is part of Joss Stone’s amazing ‘Total World Tour’.
“Joss Stone’s amazing tour will see her breaking a record of performing in every country on the planet. Her support acts are known for delivering amazing audience experiences,” said Wanyanya.
“Joss Stone is excited to be playing in Zimbabwe for the first time and we are thrilled to present a unique concert and a unique line up. Ngoma Nehosho is designed to bring to Zimbabwean audiences a different kind of concert experience to what they are used to and to engage with all audiences. It is an exciting journey and we hope you join us on it.”
Since inception in 2014, Ngoma NeHosho Live Sessions have grown from strength to strength with previous editions hosting South African Legend Bra Hugh Masekela, Zimbabwe music legend Oliver Mtukudzi, Victor Kunonga, Alexio Kawara and Tariro NeGitare among others.
