Windhoek – Free style motocross world champion Liber Podmol will entertain attendees with his gravity and defying dare-devil stunts at the upcoming Standard Bank auto show and biltong fest.
The two-day event is set to take place from 30 June to 1 July at the Sports Klub Windhoek (SKW) stadium.
In a press statement, Standard Bank public relations and communication manager, Surihe Gaomas-Guchu, described the event as a wholesome experience that would be enjoyed by the whole family and car lovers.
“It caters to car lovers who simply want to revel in their beauty, for those who may be interested in purchasing vehicles or lovers of biltong. We have, however, always ensured that it caters for the whole family, which is why we are proud that motocross world champion Liber Podmol will surely wow attendees with his amazing stunts,”Gaomas-Guchu said.
Podmol’s interest in classic motocross racing started at the age of 13, but he began his freestyle career in 2002 and has gone on to become Europe’s Top FMX riders.
The Czech-born motocross rider previously won the vice-world champion at the international freestyle Motocross Ltd. (IFMXF) Championship from 2006 to 2008, before winning the world champion at the same tournament in 2010 in Brazil.
Gaomas-Guchu said attendees would not be disappointed by Podmol’s performance during the auto show/biltong fest, as he is one of the best freestyle motor cross riders and would give a remarkable show.
One of this year’s highlights of the Standard Bank auto show is that potential buyers can get their pre-approval during the two-day event, or better yet drive away with their dream cars, granted that the participants have the right documentation for the process.
