WINDHOEK – Namibia’s award winning advertising agency, Advantage Y & R, won two Silver Loeries at the Loeries 2017 Awards held in Durban, South Africa, recently.
The awards are made up of one in the Indoor Posters category for their ‘African Trash Masks’ created for Greenpeace Africa and another in the Media Innovation category for the Commodity Exchange and YOLO condom ‘Be Safe’ campaign.
Creative director of Advantage Y & R Toufic Beyhum said he was having an incredible feeling for the agency’s success.
“We’re thrilled to see Namibian work represented on the same stage as bigger – budget South African and Middle East campaigns – being there not just to make up the numbers, but to actually win, which is an incredible feeling,” said Beyhum.
Advantage Y&R is a full-service advertising agency based in Windhoek, Namibia.
According to the press statement from Advantage Y & R, the agency was founded more than 20 years ago and it is affiliated with Y & R Global.
Last year, Advantage Y & R won a silver and a bronze for their ‘#DontWashMeNAM’ water-saving campaign.
