Windhoek show attracts thousands spectators
Windhoek – All roads lead to the Windhoek showgrounds today and tomorrow where the annual Windhoek Agricultural Industrial and Show gets into in full swing.
The Windhoek Agricultural Show is the primary and biggest annual event in Namibia. It combines an agricultural exhibition with a range of industrial and retail offerings, and entertainment.
This year, the fun park continues to be the centre of attraction with children of all ages queuing up to test various devices that fly up in the air or spin around at great speeds.
The outside exhibition area is fully occupied with approximately 70 percent of exhibitors being local people who are selling items such as toys, cocktails, clothing, kitchen equipment, beddings, food, and drinks.
There are also specific halls for government departments to provide services to the public and these include the Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration stand where people can apply for identity documents and passports.
The expo ends on Saturday.
