“We are prepared to host this festival which will has a plethora of local artists from music, dance, theatre, sculptors, poetry, fashion designers, martial artists and a stand-up comedy.
“It is vital that all Zimbabweans have an opportunity to be exposed to all the great art work that has been created by local artists. Our Zimbabwean artists are very hard working and are making ground breaking achievements worldwide. It is time that they are not only celebrated in foreign lands but in their own home as well,” she said.
Mudenge said families will also be catered for at the festival.
“The Zimbabwe Arts Festival has made sure it is a fun filled day for the family. Jumping castles and kids games will be there. The programme has entertainment for the whole day for those families who do not want to stay out late,” she said.
Tickets for the show are going for $10.
